Barnabas Task is a non-profit faith based organization that uses their faith to empower and transform communities. Barnabas task collaborates with safe houses, childrens homes, and provides help to many others in the name of faith. They provide distribution lines with safe houses in the Dominican as well. BT is also working with a few dental clinic; they believe prevention is the way to become self sufficient. Instead of coming in and controlling the environment, BT believes that allowing the people in the Dominican to run the clinics will be best for them on the whole. Barnabas Task has promoted great change throughout the world and Butler University Epics program plans to facilitate their goals as much as we can.
Our group will be working with Barnabas Task on further developing an application that will facilitate a better environment for the doctors, triage, and pharmacy in the treatment process. The purpose of the application will be to help workflow and increase efficiency to improve the quality and quantity of of care delivered to the patients B.T. can help. The application will help the different areas of the medical facility communicate and to minimize the workload on the health professionals as well. It will be used on iPads, using both Xcode and Swift programming languages.
