About the Organization
The PRevention of Overdoses and Treatment Errors in Children Taskforce (PROTECT) Initiative is a coalition of over 100 public health organizations dedicated to preventing unintentional medication overdoses in children.
About the Project
The project focuses on developing and testing new child-proof medication containers that go beyond current child-resistant standards. By exploring innovative 3D-printed designs and improved locking mechanisms, the team aims to create packaging that enhances safety for young children while remaining practical and accessible for caregivers.
