About the Organization
Shalom Health Care Center is a nonprofit agency in Indianapolis that serves over 14,000 patients annually. Each summer they host an annual Dr. Danneé Neal Back-To-School Health Fair which focuses on providing health screenings, community resources, back-to-school supplies, and more to those in need.
About the Project
Health screenings are a large part of the annual health fair so automating the registration process would have a substantial impact. A stand-alone database, AWS, will allow us to capture this information and participants can be given a QRcode to scan and create their profile. This will allow participants to enjoy more of what the fair has to offer instead of spending valuable time filling out forms.
